Some funding opportunities are "limited submissions," meaning the funder sets a limit on the number of grant proposals that can be submitted by the University within a given period. To ensure researchers do not invest time developing proposals that cannot be submitted, the Division of Research coordinates limited submissions from 色吧 when necessary.
When researchers within the same college express interest in a limited submission, the Division of Research will involve the dean of that college in decision-making; however, if researchers from more than one college are involved, the Division of Research determines which proposal(s) will go forward, typically by holding an internal competition.
Potential applicants to limited submissions are asked to submit concept papers based on specific guidelines for that program.
