Desk Receptionists (DRs) help check out hall equipment, distribute loaner keys, and report facility problems, including those with laundry and vending equipment. DRs also provide information and security services for your residence, including monitoring, visitation, and if needed, calling escort services.

Front Desk Hours

• 10am - Midnight, Monday - Friday
• Noon - Midnight, Saturday & Sunday

Hours may vary during hall opening and closing times and for University holidays.

Each semester, students receive 60 individual starts per semester, which will now be loaded digitally on a mobile app. A start is equivalent to one wash or one dry. The machines are serviced by a private vendor. All inoperative machines should be reported to your community desk, noting the number of the machine that has malfunctioned so that a repair request may be submitted. All laundry swipes expire July 31 each year.

Small kitchens are located throughout the residential complexes across campus. Many of the kitchenettes include a microwave, flat cook-top, and a sink for cooking up a snack for all your friends on your hall.

Lobby and floor lounges are provided to residents and their guests for the purposes of studying and/or community-building activities.

Personal mail is delivered to each building or complex on a regularly scheduled basis. Letters requiring a signature are delivered to the front desk. For addresses and mailbox locations, visit Student Mail & Packages.
